Uses
Penistrepo injection is indicated for use in cattle, horses, pigs and sheep for the treatment of infections caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to Penicillin and/or Streptomycin.
The combination of penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin is especially useful in the treatment of mixed infections involving both Gram-positive and gram-negative organisms.
Dosage and administration.
The dose should be given once daily by deep intramuscular injection for up to three consecutive days.
Cattle, horses, sheep : 1 ml/10 kg.
Pigs (50 kg) : 2 to 5 ml.
Dogs (10 kg) : 1 to 2 ml.
Cats (3kg) : 0,25 to 0.6 ml.
Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Contra-indicated in known cases of hypersensitivity to Penicillins. Occasionally in sucking and fattening pigs administration of this product may cause a transient pyrexia, vomiting, shivering, listlessness and in coordination. Additionally in pregnant sows and gilts. A vulval discharge which could be associated with abortion, has been reported. Care should be taken not to exceed the recommended dosage.
Milk for human consumption must not be taken during treatment.
Pharmaceutical precautions
Shake the container before use. Store below 25°c. Protect from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
Following withdrawal of the first dose, use the product within 28 days. Discard unused material.

Meat and offal : 18 days.

Indication
Indicated in the treatment and control of desease in calves, pigs and poultry caused by or associated with, organisms sensitive to oxytetracyclin.
Administration and dosage :
Oral route, in drinking water.
Calves, pigs and poultry: 50 mg of oxytin 50/kg body weight / day
during 3 to 5 days, or 100 g per 200 litres of water
for poultry (0,5 g/litre of water).
Withdrawal time :
Meat and offal : 7 days
Eggs : nil.
Storage :
3 years, away from light and in a dry area.

Concentration: 140g Description: Presentation: a purple coloured aerosol spray containing 5g Oxytetracycline hydrochloride Ph.Eur per 140g can (3.6% w/w).
Uses: oxtetracycline is active against a wide range of Gram-posistive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria.
Oxytet spray is indicated for the treatment of foot rot and topical infections caused by Oxytetracycline-sensitive organisms in cattle, sheep and pigs.
Dosage and Administration: for the treatment of foot rot, the hooves should be cleaned and pared prior to administration. Wounds should be cleaned prior to administration. Shake the can before use. Spray for a few seconds or until the lesion is adequately covered. Treated sheep should be allowed to stand on dry ground for one hour before returning to pasture.
Contra-indications, warnings, etc: keep away from eyes. Avoid contact with skin. Wash hands after use. Avoid inhaling vapours. Pressurised container, protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50ºC. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. For external use only. Highly flammable. Must be used in a well ventilated area. Do not smoke when using this product.

Uses: gentamicin is a broad sprectrum antibiotic. It is active against gram negative germs such as Escherichia Coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Shigella, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, brucella and Haemophilus. It is also active against gram positive germs such as Staphylocoques (even penicillin resistant) and mycoplasmes. Gentavet is acting 30 to 60 minutes after the injection and the diffusion in the body is very effective. The rate of the product in the serum is maintained from 6 to 12 hours depending on the dosage. Gentamicin is eliminated by way of urines. Mainly used in septicemic infections in young animals, Gentavet is indicated in the treatment of infections of the respiratory, uro-genital and gastro-intestinal tracts, the skin, bones and infections in soft tissue.
Dosage and administration: by intra-muscular or subcutaneous injections. From 2 to 4 mg/kg every 8 hours, during 3 to 5 days. Slow IV route can be given for the first injection as an attack dose.
Calf: 3 mg/kg i.e. 1.5 ml (150 mg) / 50 kg
Pigs: 4 mg/kg i.e. 2ml (200 mg) / 50 kg
Horses: 3-4 mg/kg i.e. 12-15ml / 400 kg. If hypersensitivity to any components or if yeast disorders occur, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy institute.
Cats and dogs: 4mg/kg: 0.045 ml / 3 kg an appropriately graduated syringe must be used to allow accurate administration of the required volume. This is particularly important when injecting small dose volumes: Poultry: 2mg/kg.
Contra-indications, warnings: not for use in animals for human consumption. Use with caution in animals with impaired renal function. Not to be used during pregnancy.
Withdrawal time: offal and meat: 60 days, milk: 3 days.

Uses:
Chloramphenicol is a bacteriostatic antibiotic active against a wide range of pathogenic organisms including most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as certain chlamydia. It shows a good penetration of the non-inflamed eye following ophthalmic administration. It is also well tolerated.
Dosage and administration:
Dogs and cats: apply a quantity of ointment the size of a pea in the conjunctival sac of the eye twice daily. Treatment should be continued at least 48 hours after the eye appears normal.
Contra-indications, warning:
Not to be used on animals hypersentitive to chloramphenicol.
Not indicated in food-producing animals.
Do not vaccinate animals while chloramphenicol is been administered.
